Since graduating from Saint Louis University in 1971, Richard W. Bayers, C.P.A. has provided accounting and tax services to the small business community. He has provided affordable professional service tailored to the client’s needs.

He provides an array of services that help small businesses with compliance reporting. Some of the services include tax services for corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals, including IRS representation. He prepares monthly, quarterly and annual payroll and sales tax returns. He also provides monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as needed. He provides all tax services to the Crestwood Sunset Hills Area Chamber of Commerce.

Involvement in his church includes board membership of the Business Network, served as Eucharistic Minister, and past Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader. Rich has been Vice President and served on the board of his motorcycle club. He is also one of the safety road captains for the club. He has served on the Bikers for Babies committee of the March of Dimes for more than fifteen years.

Chamber involvement includes participation in most Chamber events and sponsorship of various events. He is past chairman of the Community / Member Development Committee, past chairman of the Student of the Month Committee. He is also a member of the Auction Committee, chairman of the Route 66 Committee, chairman of the Fund-raising Committee and Finance Committee member. He has served on the Executive Committee for three years and as the 2011 President of the Chamber. He was selected Chamber Business Person of the Year in 2012 and Chamber Member of the Year 2014. He has been a member since 2008, leaving the board in 2014 because of term limits. In 2015, he was back on the board, replacing a retiree, before being elected to a new term in 2016.

Rich operated his own C.P.A. business for many years before making a connection with BWTP P.C. Principal, Ray Brune. As he approaches his own retirement, he wanted to bring his book of business to a firm that he trusted. He currently still assists on his clients’ work, and is helping with the transition of his book of business. The knowledge that Rich has brought with him to BWTP P.C. is welcomed and appreciated.

Above all this, he is most proud of his four wonderful children and all of their accomplishments and achievements.
